Biography
She was born in Seoul, Korea and was raised there until she was 12. Seeing that she I loved storytelling, drawing and writing, her parents decided to send her to America. At age 12, she went to the U.S. and continued her passion for creative writing, but this time in English. She attended high school in Palos Verdes, California and took a video production class as an elective. There, she learned that she actually loved making videos, since it was a way of visual storytelling. She was accepted into the University of Southern California for their film & TV production program, which was her dream school. She learned everything about filmmaking there, especially focusing on directing and editing. She discovered her passion for editing and wanted to pursue that further. After graduating, she began an internship at BuzzFeed, and entered the world of digital media. She fell in love with creating YouTube videos and reaching a worldwide audience. She was hired as a full time video editor at BuzzFeed and worked on their big shows including the Try Guys, Worth It, and Ladylike, and also appeared in some videos as talent, which helped her start her own YouTube channel. In 2018, the Try Guys left BuzzFeed and made their own company. She was in contact with them and they offered her a job, so she joined them as their video editor. She continued her YouTube channel and worked as a talent as well. In 2024, she was their senior video editor and also part of the main cast, sharing her passion for editing and creating videos through her social media. On May 20, 2026 due to personal health reasons, she left her position as Senior Video Editor at Try Guys/2nd Try. She continues to appear as a cast member and edit some videos as a freelance editor.
