Hija de Perra (which translates to Daughter of a Bitch) was a radical Chilean performer, writer, and activist known for her confrontational, provocative, and deeply political work that challenged normative ideas about gender, sexuality, the body, and beauty. Active primarily in the 2000s until her death in 2014, she became an iconic figure in Latin America's underground art and queer scenes.
