Biography
Born on January 27, 1937. He appeared in films as a child actor from a young age, and in 1955, during the early days of television, he joined Radio Tokyo Television (now TBS) as an actor. While appearing in various dramas, he later shifted to work primarily in voice acting, serving as a personality (DJ) for various commercial radio stations (including FM stations). As a result, he is quite knowledgeable about music from the 1960s and 70s, including American pop, Japanese pop, Group Sounds, and folk. He has also been active as a voice actor, and his roles as Cookie in "Sunset 77" and Eightman in the anime "Eightman" are well-known to the general public.
